Invite a New Team Member
Expanding your team within SpendCraft begins with the invitation process. This establishes the initial security handshake and allows you to track the onboarding progress of new colleagues.
๐ Steps to Invite a User
Follow these steps to send a secure invitation to a new team member:
1. Navigate to Team Management:
From the left-hand navigation panel, click on Manage Team. This will open the central governance hub for all user accounts.
2. Initiate Invitation:
Click the purple Invite Member button located at the top of the interface. This will open the invitation modal.
3. Enter Details:
Enter the colleague's professional email address in the Email Address field.

4. Send Invitation:
Click the Send Invitation button to finalize the process.
๐ Tracking the Invitation Status
Once the invitation is sent, you can monitor its progress to ensure successful onboarding:
- Tab Location: The user will now be listed under the Invitations tab.
- Status Indicator: The user will show a Pending status until they follow the link in their email and complete the account setup.
- Expiry: Keep an eye on the invitation date; invitations may expire based on your organization's security settings. If a user misses the window, you may need to resend the invite.
Administrative Tip
Before your colleague joins, it is a good practice to determine their global permissions. Once they accept the invitation and become an Active Member, you can adjust their module-level access to ensure they have exactly what they need to start working.
